CPC Newsletter
The Community Praise Center (CPC) Seventh-day Adventist Church’s newsletter Praise (Proclaiming Righteousness and Inspiring Saints to Evangelism) is dedicated to communicating church information and news to the congregation and the community. The content of Praise is relevant to CPC’s mission and the spiritual development and maturity of families and individuals.
Praise is a quarterly publication that is distributed on the first Sabbath of each quarter. Submissions should be sent to the Publications Ministry via email in MS Word format. The Publications Ministry, along with the pastoral staff, will make a determination as to whether or not the materials are appropriate for inclusion in the newsletter. Anyone who is a member of CPC can submit information to be published in Praise. All submissions are subject to editing according to the newsletter editorial team’s discretion. Newsletter content and photographs should be sent to publications@cpcsda.org
Articles shall be no more than 500 words (exceptions may be granted), pertinent to the CPC mission and appropriate to present to the congregation and community. Each article and editorial must embody the spirit of Praise. Whether providing information on an event, idea or person, the content must be written so that is gives honor and glory to God.
Additional submission criteria for the newsletter may be developed and published by the Publication Ministry without notice. Articles that do not meet the established criteria as determined at the sole discretion of the Publications Ministry and pastoral staff will be rejected. The Publications Ministry reserves the right to reject any articles or material, regardless of content.
The Publications Ministry will constantly strive to improve the appearance of the newsletter. Praise can be used as an evangelism tool to draw friends and neighbors nearer to God. It can be shared to help others experience CPC and desire to know more about our congregations, ministries and work of the Church. Our hope is that a person’s interest in visiting CPC will be peaked by getting to know us through our written testimonies and descriptions of our activities.
