What's up?!!! 

Welcome to the Youth page at CPC! I'm Pastor Melvyn Hayden III, or as some of the youth call me, Pastor "Tre".  Check out what God is doing for our young people so He can work through our young people to touch others just like you.

We have Youth Church in the Chapel upstairs at CPC every 2nd and 4th Sabbaths and a Community Service outreach program every 5th.  Each Wednesday night at 7:30pm we have a Youth Prayer Meeting and Bible study which highlights a movie clip that we watch which sparks a vibrant rap session about some real issues that young people face everyday.  Other major events include Youth Retreats (see pictures below), Youth Week of Prayers, Youth Choir, Drama Team, Socials, Mentoring, Basketball, Drum Corps & Drill Teams, Trips near and Missionary trips abroad, and so much more!  In fact, we even took our Drama Group to Bermuda!

Y.O.W. (Youth of the Way) aims to minister to youth ranging in ages from (Phase I) 11-17 to (Phase II) 18- 29.  All young people are invited to join us as we celebrate what it means to be a young Christian.  Guests and Community friends are welcomed at any time to join our youthful praise and ministry groups as we (like Eccl. 12:1 says) remember NOW our creator in the days of our youth!  Don't wait, I invite you NOW to contact me (301- 237-7925) or just come and fit right in.  See you later!
