My name is Cherie Lock and it was a message from God that helped me get the CPC sewing club ministry - A Stitch In Time - off the ground.

Here’s the story…. I was teaching myself how to sew when several family members of CPC saw me reading my sewing books before prayer meeting one night.  They expressed a desire to learn how to sew as well, and God suggested to me that I start a sewing club/class here at CPC.  I knew of several people who knew how to sew and prayed that God would place a yes on their lips when I asked them to help us.  Of course we know God answers prayers and that’s why you’re visiting our page today.  I thought it would be a great way to learn a useful skill and more importantly grow together as a family. 

We meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday and welcome all sewers to join us.  We have varied skill levels as well as a variety of sections (quilting, beginners, intermediate, home décor). What should you bring?  See our basic sewing kit . . . Because we also are a teaching class we ask that beginning sewers wait until the start of a new session which will appear here on our page and in the church bulletin a few weeks before we begin.
